The Planet Rock DJ lends his voice and likeness to a character called Alistair Coop De Ville, who is an old friend of Goofy’s uncle and wears a trademark Alice Cooper top hat with a live snake inside it.

Set to air on Friday 5th July in the US, the episode called Goof Quest sees Alistair join forces with Goofy, his Uncle Goof, and Donald Duck as they embark on an epic quest to find treasure buried in the deep jungles of Peru.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, our Alice – real name Vincent Damon Furnier – said: “It’s so funny that they have a snake coming out of my top hat, the two things that Alice is known for.”

He added: “And it’s a non-threatening character. Generally, when I play parts in movies or TV, I’m always the villain. It’s kind of nice to not be the villain for once.”

Earlier this week, Alice was forced to deny a sensationalistic tabloid story that he has a “death pact” with his wife of 43 years, Sheryl Goddard.

The Sunday Mirror quoted Alice as saying about Sheryl: “We’ve made a pact – there is no way of surviving without each other.

“I couldn’t live without her. We always said there will never be a time when one of us will be mourning the other. Whenever it does happen, we are going to go together.”

Clarifying the widely-reported story, Alice commented: "We have a LIFE pact. We love life so much.

"What I was meaning was that because we're almost always together, at home and on the road, that if something did happen to either of us, we'd most likely be together at the time," Alice added in his statement. But neither of us has a suicide pact. We have a life pact."

Alice's Ol’ Black Eyes Is Back Tour rolls into the UK in October 2019 with support from The Stranglers and MC50. Head to Planet Rock Tickets to check ticket availability.
