Alice Cooper Covers The Stones, The Doors In LA
Plus he\'s joined onstage by Robby Krieger
Alice played an album launch party at the legendary Whisky A Go-Go on Thursday night, and it sounded like quite a party.
As well as littering his set with covers - including the Rolling Stones' "Brown Sugar" and a version of the Animals' "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" - Alice was joined onstage by The Doors' Robby Krieger to play two Doors classics, "Break On Through" and "Back Door Man".
The last time Alice had played at the Whiskey was in 1969 when he opened for some "little band called Led Zeppelin."
The rest of the set included songs like "Under My Wheels," "Muscle Of Love" and "Cold Ethyl" in addition to standout versions of requisite hits such as "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "Billion Dollar Babies" and the closer, "Elected."
