Alan White rejoins Yes for upcoming live shows

Back in July Alan had an operation in Seattle to repair a disc in his lower back having been in excruciating pain for much of Yes’s European tour. Doctors advised him to sit out their North American tour while he recuperated.

Yes have now released a statement confirming Alan will hit the road once again in November.  

Former Hurricane and Asia drummer Jay Schellen, the band’s good friend who sat behind the kit all summer, will also travel to Japan and sit in until White is fully healed.

Alan said: “I’m greatly looking forward to getting back on stage with my bandmates to play Yes music once again for our devoted audiences”

In other Yes news, former members Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman have extended their upcoming March 2017 tour due to demand.
