Airbourne confirmed for Ramblin' Man Fair 2019

Truly one of the most entertaining bands around in the live arena, Airbourne will play the Sunday Special Guest spot on the Planet Rock Main Stage ahead of headliners Foreigner.

Frontman Joel O’Keeffe says: “...and ‘Ramblin’ Man’ rambles on... The gutsy little Rock’n’Roll battler of a festival that has grown into the menacing TYRANT OF ROCK that it is today.

“I love the electricity that’s burning like a bushfire here. Gutsy people come here to work, gutsy bands and gutsy people come here to rock out and at some point, we’ll all fully let loose and live it up to the absolute mega max amongst an absolute mega power packed weekend of mega rock! See ya soon Ramblin’ Man me ol’ mate!”

Airbourne last played Ramblin’ Man Fair back in 2016 when Joel infamously climbed the stage scaffolding during the storming set.

Also confirmed today is Texas-based Americana artist, Jesse Dayton, who plays the Outlaw Country Stage. As well as being an esteemed solo artist in his own right, Dayton has collaborated with the likes of Willie Nelson, Glen Campbell and Johnny Cash.

The two new additions join a Ramblin’ Man Fair line-up that boasts Planet Rock Main Stage headliners The Darkness, Black Stone Cherry and Foreigner, plus Beth Hart, The Wildhearts, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Living Colour, Ritchie Kotzen, Anathema, Allman Betts Band, Crobot and many more.

Ramblin’ Man Fair takes place at the picturesque Mote Park in Maidstone, Kent on the weekend of Friday 19th to 21st July. Tickets to the event are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
