Aerosmith's Perry Hurt In Car Crash
Perry hospitalised after being hit on his motorcycle
Aerosmith’s run of terrible bad luck with injuries continued after Joe Perry was hurt in a motor vehicle accident yesterday.
The Boston Globe reports that the guitarist was involved in a crash whilst our riding his motorcycle yesterday. Police identified Perry as the operator a motorcycle who was eastbound on Rte. 44 (Plympton street) in Middleborough, Massachusetts when his vehicle was struck from behind by a sedan.
Perry was released from hospital a few hours later, and the driver of that car, 62-year-old Linda O'Brien, has been cited for following a vehicle too closely.
It’s not known whether the accident will affect Aerosmith’s current tour, which is due to resume next Thursday in California.
