Watch Aerosmith perform 'Walk This Way' on classroom instruments
Following in the hallowed footsteps of Metallica and Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith have performed ‘Walk This Way’ using only toy instruments.
Guest appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Aerosmith joined musical forces with in-house band The Roots and the chat show host himself to belt out a classroom version of ‘Walk This Way’ with great gusto.
The brilliant video sees all five members of Aerosmith contribute vocals with Steven Tyler on additional apple shaker, orange shaker and harmonica duties, Joe Perry on ukulele, Tom Hamilton on tambourine, Joey Kramer on Fisher Price drum and Brad Whitford on maracas.

Originally recorded in 1975 for their third studio album ‘Toys in the Attic’, the 1986 Run-DMC version of ‘Walk This Way’, also featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, became an international smash.
Metallica previously recorded a toy instrument version of ‘Enter Sandman’ on Jimmy Fallon in November 2016 while Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie and now ex-member Lindsey Buckingham performed ‘Don’t Stop’ in June 2017.
Aerosmith will perform an 18-date residency at the Park Theatre in Las Vegas in April, June and July 2019.
