We'll see them next year
Last updated 5th Jun 2020
Aerosmith have announced the rescheduled dates for their upcoming shows at London The O2 and Manchester Arena.
The Boston rock legends were due to hit these shores in mid-July as part of a larger European tour; however the dates have been pushed back to June 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Joey Kramer will now play London on Wednesday 23rd June 2021 and Manchester on Tuesday 29th June 2021. Rival Sons will remain as the very special guests at the shows.
The rescheduled European tour takes place from May to July 2021 and also calls in at Moscow, Zurich, Madrid, Lisbon, Milan, Paris, Middelfart, Dessel, Krakow, Prague, Budapest and Vienna.
Aerosmith said in a statement: “Aerosmith is and always will be a band for the fans, of the fans and by the fans. It is for this reason that we have made the decision to reschedule our European Tour to Summer 2021, in an effort to keep the focus on the health and well-being of everyone during this unprecedented time.
“Please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored for the new dates listed below. If you are a ticket holder, your point of purchase will be in contact directly with further details.
“Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, it has not been possible to reschedule our show in Mönchengladbach, we are beyond disappointed and look forward to seeing our fans in Germany as soon as we can.
“In the meantime, please be safe and kind to one another. Love, Aerosmith”
The 2021 shows form part of the 'Deuces are Wild' tour, the result of their wildly popular 50+ date residency at the Park MGM in Las Vegas.
