Aerosmith Announce Japan Tour

Boston rock legends to play first shows there since 2004

Published 6th Jul 2011

Their tour kicks off in Kanazawa at the end of November, and they will play their first tour in the country for seven years. The decision to head east was prompted by the recent earthquake and tsunami that devasted the coastline.

"Our prayers are with all of our Japanese fans and the people of Japan. They can use all of our prayers and whatever help we can give. We can't wait to be there and play for the people who have supported us for the past 40 years. Our fans know how much we love them and we are eager to return and give them the show of a lifetime, especially after the tragedy they have recently been through" says guitarist Joe Perry.

Adds bassist Tom Hamilton, "Every time we've come to Japan we've had a great time. We'll do our best to bring a show that meets the high expectations of our Japanese fans. Let's Rock!"
