Ex Guns n’ Roses drummer Steven Adler says he’s forgiven Axl Rose for not showing up to the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony this year.

The band were inducted at the annual shindig in Ohio in April but Adler called his former bandmate an "asshole” for not showing up.

In Rose’s absence, Slash, Duff McKagan and Adler performed 'Appetite For Destruction' along with hits 'Mr Brownstone', 'Sweet Child O' Mine' and 'Paradise City' with Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy.

He’d also previously dismissed the new line-up of Guns N' Roses by dubbing them "Axl And His Hacks" but has now told Rolling Stone that he’s "not angry with Axl anymore”. He went on to say "I love him and I feel blessed that I got to work with him and achieve what I achieved with him. I guess time does heal all wounds”.
