AC/DC to release first ever official photo book
The first ever AC/DC official photo book will be released next year.
Endorsed by the band themselves, as the title suggests The Rock or Bust Tour Book 2015 celebrates AC/DC’s gargantuan 2015 tour that kicked off at Coachella Festival and included dates at Glasgow’s Hampden Park and London Wembley Stadium.
Featuring images of Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff WIlliams, Chris Slade and Stevie Young, the book does not include any of their 2016 dates when Axl Rose stepped in for Brian Johnson.
Currently in production, the book will boast over 200 pages and will be the same physical dimensions as a vinyl record sleeve. It will be released in summer 2017.
Publishers Rufus Stone Limited Editions said: “The Rock or Bust tour has played to millions of fans around the world, setting records for attendance and sell out times.
“Renowned music photographer Ralph Larmann has captured ACDC throughout this incredible tour, creating an amazing photographic documentary of the band and fans in action.
“Rufus Stone is assembling these pictures plus some amazing facts, figures and tour memorabilia to celebrate one of the most successful rock tours of the last decade.”
The will be a number of different versions of the book including a ‘Leather and Metal’ collectors version with a "light up" AC/DC slipcase.
