In pictures: AC/DC rock London's Wembley Stadium

AC/DC triumphed at their first UK concert in more than eight years last night, at the world-famous London Wembley Stadium.

In front of a raucous 80,000-strong crowd, AC/DC tore through a blistering 21-song set that opened with ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’ and closed with ‘For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)’.

Belying his almost septuagenarian years, sole constant member Angus Young bounded around the stage relentlessly in his schoolboy attire, while Brian Johnson sang and screeched in his trademark style.

It was Brian’s first AC/DC concert in his native England since the band played Wembley Stadium almost nine years ago to the very day. Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose, of course, stood in for him on the band’s 2016 dates.

AC/DC play a second sold-out concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday 7th July as part of their ongoing European PWR UP Tour with special guests The Pretty Reckless.
