A Mini Kiss For Charity

Band to sell four customised Minis for UNICEF next month

Published 26th Apr 2011

The band has lent their "likenesses" for four MINI Countrymen vehicles to be auctioned off to benefit UNICEF in their effort to help children in Japan and in other areas of the world. The announcement was made at the New York Auto Show.

The four cars will be custom painted with design for each of the members of the band and then sold on eBay to the highest bidder during a special Father's Day auction starting 29 May.

Gene Simmons said of the promotion, "Our hearts go out to the people of Japan in this time of great tragedy. We wanted to help and also to provide a real way for the KISS Army to get involved. UNICEF raises money to help children who are still coping with the effects of these disasters, and also supports other very important emergency relief efforts around the world. Join the KISS Army in giving."
