Police have confirmed that a young woman from Newquay who went missing has been found.
A massive search and rescue operation was launched in the town amid concerns for Sarah Thomson's welfare.
The 28-year-old runner was last seen at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon and officers said they were 'extremely concerned' about her.
Police and Coastguard rescue teams were seen parked up at The Atlantic Hotel in the town.
The police helicopter was also out searching the bay on Sunday morning.
At around 7.30pm on Sunday evening Inspector Guy Blackford tweeted to say that Sarah had been located.
Everyone involved in the searches is being thanked for their help.
