Trains cancelled on Cornish branch line due to lanslip
It comes following heavy rain and as a thunderstorm warning remains in force for Cornwall

Trains have been cancelled between Par and Newquay following a landslip.
Great Western Railway says the line is blocked and disruption is expected to last for the rest of the day (Monday 28th June).
Replacement buses are running instead in both directions until further notice.
It comes following a day of downpours on Sunday and as a thunderstorm warning remains in force across the Duchy.

"Buses run instead of trains on Great Western Railway in both directions between Par and Newquay due to landslip."

"The Newquay branch line is closed while Network Rail technicians investigate a suspected landslip near Luxulyan. Replacement coaches have been requested to run between Par and Newquay.
"Replacement road transport services are conveying passengers between Par and Newquay in both directions until further notice. Arrangements have been made for Great Western Railway rail tickets to be accepted for these journeys. Replacement coaches have been requested to run between Par and Newquay. No ETA at present.
