19-year-old motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash near Helston
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A3083 last night

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash near Helston.
It happened at around 9.20pm last night (Thursday 22 June) on the A3083 junction near an unclassified road leading to Gunwalloe.
South Western Ambulance Service, Cornwall Air Ambulance and the police all attended the incident.
A white coloured Honda Jazz and a black Sym 125cc motorcycle were involved. The rider of the motorbike, who is a 19-year-old local man, was treated at the scene having sustained significant injuries; he was subsequently airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
The A3083 between Hospital Cross, Helston and Culdrose roundabout was closed for around six hours while scene investigation work took place.
Police are wanting to hear from witnesses, particularly those with dashcam footage, that could assist with the investigation. They can be contacted on 101 quoting log 1037 22 June 2023.
