Sunday Pfizer Covid jab walk-in clinics are running in Cornwall
People can turn up for their first dose at Stithians or the Royal Cornwall Showground
Sunday Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine walk-in clinics are running at the Stithians and Royal Cornwall Showgrounds.
Anyone in Cornwall, who has not yet had their coronavirus vaccination is invited to drop-in with no need to book ahead at the large vaccination centres at Stithians and Wadebridge showgrounds.
All adults aged 18 or over who have not yet had their first dose or booked a slot through the National Booking Service (NBS), can come along to the Stithians Showground near Redruth or Royal Cornwall Showground between 10am and 6pm on Sunday 27th June to receive a Pfizer vaccine.
Sunday walk-in clinics are running to make it even easier for people to get their first dose of Pfizer, get protected and stop the rise in COVID rates across Cornwall.
“We want to make it as easy for as many eligible people as possible, to take up the offer of a COVID jab and so we are running a walk-in COVID clinic this Sunday.
“With the sharp rise in the number of COVID cases we’re asking everyone to #doitforCornwall by rolling up their sleeve, getting protected and stop the spread of the virus.
“We have plenty of vaccines available. There is no need to book, just come along – but please be patient as it could be busy.”

Friendly vaccinators and volunteers will be ready to welcome people to the site and keep things running smoothly.
Regular updates will be posted across Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust Facebook and Twitter pages, providing details of any changes or delays in or around the large vaccination centres throughout the day.
People who already have a confirmed booking slot for either first or second doses, should continue to attend their booked appointment as planned.
Other vaccination services are available for anyone who is unable to make the walk-in on Sunday
First and second doses appointment can be booked by logging on to the national NHS booking service, or calling 119 free of charge.
Adults aged 40 and over can also receive their second dose of the vaccine sooner – reducing the wait from 12 weeks to 8 weeks.
People who have already have a second booked vaccination appointment for their second dose on the national booking system can log on to the system to change their appointment.
