There is slow traffic on the A38 near Bodmin Parkway
A stretch of Cornwall's A38 has been partially closed due to a sinkhole.
Inrix Traffic and Travel says it is causing problems in both directions near to Bodmin Parkway.
There is said to be slow traffic in the area.
Highways England has confirmed the problem has been caused by a collapsed drain and repairs will be carried out.
They say safety is their number one priority and have apologised for the inconvenience.
A spokesperson for Highways England said: "We have closed the westbound lane of the A38 by Bodmin due to a collapsed drain adjacent to the road.
"Safety is our number one priority and temporary traffic lights will be installed while repairs take place.
"We apologise for any inconvenience and advise drivers to plan ahead."
Inrix Traffic and Travel says: "A38 in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to sinkhole from Bodmin Parkway station to Turfdown Road."
