Cornwall has welcomed yet another celebrity and this time it is the singer - Rag'n'Bone Man.

The artist behind hits like 'Human' and 'All You Ever Wanted' visited the Cornish Birds of Prey Centre near St Columb last week.

The team described the singer-songwriter, real name Rory Charles Graham, and his family as "lovely".

Staff told us a booking was made about a month ago but they were not told who, only that it was "someone famous".

They say they asked if whoever it was would officially open one of the attraction's new blocks and were delighted to be told yes!

Posting on Instagram, staff said: "So normally you have to pay to go and see famous people, but yesterday the Rag’n’Bone Man and his lovely family actually paid to come and see us.

"Well, ok, not me and Andy personally but all our gorgeous birds and animals.

"All I can say is, what a lovely family.

"He even very kindly agreed to officially open one of our new aviary blocks for us.

"What a top man.

"Needless to say we also have three very happy children as well".

The Cornish Birds of Prey Centre provides a caring home for mistreated, unwanted, injured and neglected birds of prey and other animals, whether from private owners or other zoos.

Its Mission Statement reads: "Our aim, and the purpose of the centre is to educate our visitors, allow them to learn more about our magnificent and beautiful birds and provide a relaxed, informed and fun environment.

"Our hope is that this knowledge will prevent people impulsively buying birds of prey as pets and to enable them to understand the commitment that owning a bird of prey requires.

"We invite you to come and support the centre and the work we do, experience our fantastic flying displays, and learn more about these amazing animals".
