Man dies after being found lying injured in the road in Cornwall

A man who was found lying injured in the road over the bank holiday weekend in Cornwall has died.
Police and paramedics were called to Higher Pumpfield Row in Pool just after midnight on Monday morning.
The man in this 30s was taken to hospital with serious head injuries where has now sadly passed away.
Officers say his death is currently being treated as unexplained and a cordon remains in place at the scene.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of assault and have been released on bail.
"Police and paramedics were called to Higher Pumpfield Row, Pool, at around 12.05am on Monday 3rd May following reports of a man lying injured in the road.
"The man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. He died in hospital on Wednesday 5th May.
"The next-of-kin have been informed.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
"A police cordon remains in place at the scene.
"A 26-year-old man and two women, aged 25 and 34, have been arrested on suspicion of assault. They have been released on police bail until 31st May while enquiries continue."
