Police divers have been drafted into the search efforts to try and find a missing diver off the coast of Cornwall.

The diver disappeared on Thursday, off Falmouth, and a big multi-agency operation was launched.

The coastguard, the RNLI and rescue helicopters all joined the search but no one was found.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency stood down their searches on Thursday evening, but carried on broadcasting Mayday relays through the night.

Now Devon and Cornwall Police are carrying out searches as part of the investigation.
