The iconic Pet Shop Boys brought their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour to the Eden Sessions last night (Wednesday June 28).

The show was a two-hour audio-visual celebration of their career dating back to the 1980s.

Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have toured extensively over the last year and have seen their music embraced by new generations of music fans around the world.

Their Glastonbury Other Stage headline slot received rave reviews everywhere, with The Guardian deeming it “simply one of the best collections of songs in the whole of pop music”, while The Independent called it “a life-affirming, era-straddling set.”

Rolling Stone UK added to the praise, stating the slot was “a spectacular, hits-packed showcase, one that underscored that Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are behind some of Britain’s finest ever pop songs.”

They were joined by special guest DJ Mike Pickering

Mike began his career at factory records in the early 1980’s as an A&R man signing Happy Mondays and James as well as working at the legendary Hacienda club from its opening in 1982 for 11 years as the booker and DJ.
