Pedestrian in hospital following collision with pick-up truck in Bodmin
Police say the casualty's injuries are believed to be serious

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after they were involved in a collision with a pick-up truck in Bodmin.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Higher Bore Street on Thursday afternoon (12th May).
It is believed that the pedestrian has suffered serious injuries and they have been taken to Derriford in Plymouth.
Officers were urging drivers to avoid the area but the road has now reopened.
At the time, a Devon & Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called at around 1pm following reports of a collision between a pick-up truck and a pedestrian on Higher Bore Street, Bodmin.
"Closures remain in place and both the ambulance service and Air ambulance initially attended.
"The pedestrian has been taken to Derriford Hospital with injuries believed to be serious.
"Police remain at the scene and we advise road users to continue to avoid the area."
It has been confirmed that traffic is now returning to normal.
Inrix Traffic and Travel says: "A389 Westheath Avenue in both directions re-opened, traffic returned to normal, accident cleared between B3268 Lower Bore Street and Barn Lane."
