New flight from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Humberside
Eastern Airways will operate a twice-weekly service from next month

From next month, airline passengers will be able to fly from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Humberside.
Eastern Airways has announced it will operate a twice-weekly service from the 1st of April.
Bosses have confirmed the flights will run on a Monday and Friday and say it will help to boost regional connectivity between the Duchy and the Humber and Yorkshire.
They say the flight schedule has been designed to provide maximum opportunity for long weekend stays, weekly commuting and those who also wish to visit friends or family.
Adam Wheatley, Managing Director of Eastern Airways, said: "Helping solve vital regional connectivity is what Eastern Airways have done for 25 years.
"From our home base at Humberside, the addition of Cornwall Newquay, our newest base, helps connect one of the most distant surface transport journeys from the Humber Bank, Lincolnshire and East Riding of Yorkshire to one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK.
Adam added: "We are delighted to add Humberside to our London Gatwick service from Cornwall Airport Newquay, adding to our existing services to Aberdeen which we have served continuously since 1997 and the return for the third year of Jersey which commences in May.
"All services from Humberside operate on low emission aircraft fitting our belief in how sustainable aviation can meet the need of the UK economy and extensive connectivity into the future.
"This also comes at a time when we are delighted to be adding new roles to support our expansion of services across our network".
Sam O’Dwyer, Managing Director, Cornwall Airport Newquay said: " We’re delighted to be adding Humberside to our network with Eastern Airways from Cornwall.
"With the demand for domestic travel increasing rapidly again now we are confident that this route will prove popular with those looking to find an efficient and cost-effective way to travel between the two regions".
The service departs Humberside at 11:10am on both Mondays and Fridays, with a return service leaving Cornwall Airport Newquay at 1.05pm; the flight time is a little over an hour each way.
