Police have released more details following a serious crash on the A30 in north Cornwall.
Several vehicles were involved in the collision in the Colliford Lake area, near Bodmin, on Tuesday afternoon.
It has now been revealed that a total of four adults and a child were taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
One of those was a driver, a man in his 30s from Norfolk, who suffered serious injuries.
The other driver, a man in his 60s from Scotland, suffered minor injuries.
Members of the public helped to give medical treatment at the scene along with the emergency services.
Anyone who saw the crash, or who has dashcam footage, is asked to contact officers.
"Police are appealing for information following a serious collision on the A30 near Colliford Lake, Bodmin, yesterday 6 July.
"Officers were called around 1.20pm following a collision between a grey Volkswagen and a Land Rover Discovery on the westbound carriageway.
"The driver of the car, a man in his 30s from Norfolk, sustained serious injuries, initially described as life-threatening. A further three adults and one child in the car also sustained injuries and all were taken to Derriford Hospital.
"The driver of the Land Rover, a man in his 60s from Scotland, suffered minor injuries.
"Medical treatment was administered soon after the incident by members of the public and emergency services."

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision and are particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
