A whale so big it was being bow-ridden by dolphins has been spotted off the Cornish coast.
Marine Discovery Penzance says it has never seen such a large adult Fin whale before.
The creatures can grow up to 26m in length, which is twice as long as a double-decker bus!
Posting on Facebook on Sunday (12th September), Marine Discovery Penzance said: "After a day off yesterday we had a very exciting day of sightings today.
"This morning’s 3 hour trip was going very well, with lots of porpoises, a Risso’s dolphin and some common dolphins spotted already, when we saw a FIN WHALE.
"It was an adult whale and absolutely massive, with the huge blowholes, towering blow, and oblique slanting fin immediately identifying it as a fin whale, as well as its length.
"We have seen juvenile fin whales feeding near minkes before but never such a large animal.
"It was even being bow-ridden by common dolphins!
"Hard to tell how long it was, but they are the second longest whale in the world, and can grow up to 26m".
