Man taken to hospital after serious St Austell crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious single-vehicle crash in St Austell.

It happened at around 3.47pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday 11 June) on an unnamed road between Little Treviscoe and Stepaside, St Stephen.

The collision involved a grey Peugeot 309 driven by a 62-year-old man from the St Stephen area, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

Local officers as well as officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the scene and a full investigation took place. Once a forensic investigation had been conducted the road was re-opened.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time and who may have dash camera footage to call 101 quoting log 0651 of 11 June 2023 or occurrence 50230165830.
