Young man falls 100ft from cliffs in Newquay at night
Police say he had jumped over the railings to go to the toilet - not realising there was nothing there

A young man has fallen around 100ft from cliffs in Newquay in the middle of the night.
The coastguard helicopter, paramedics, coastguard crews and police were all called to the scene.
It happened in the Narrowcliff area at 12.40am on Friday morning.
Officers say the man in his 20s had jumped over railings to go to the toilet, not realising there was nothing on the other side.
He was found on the beach below but did not suffer any life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
It happened during one of the busiest weeks of the year for Cornwall, during Boardmasters week.
Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We were called by HM Coastguard to the Narrowcliff area of Newquay at around 12.40am on Friday 13 August with a report a male had fallen from cliffs.
"The man, aged in his 20s, was said to have fallen 70ft-100ft after jumping over the railings to go to the toilet, not realising there was nothing on the other side.
"The coastguard helicopter and ambulance service also attended.
"The man was located on the beach below and was not believed to have suffered any life-threatening or life-changing injuries, which appeared to be scratches and a suspected broken ankle."
