Man charged following reports of a serious sexual assault in Truro
The 48-year-old is due before magistrates
A man has been charged with rape, burglary and fraud following reports of a serious sexual assault in Truro.
Police were called to an address in the city in the early hours of Sunday 18th July.
Matthew Addison, aged 48, of St Clements Close, Truro, has been charged with two counts of rape.
He is further charged with burglary and two counts of fraud by false representation.
Addison has also been charged with assault and sexual assault in relation to separate incidents alleged to have happened on Saturday 17th July.
He is due to appear before Truro Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 22nd July.
