Man arrested after knifepoint break-in in Bodmin
Armed police were called to St Pirans Close on Tuesday morning
Armed police have been to an address in Bodmin after reports a man with a knife had got inside.
Police were called to St Pirans Close just before 9.30am on Tuesday 24th October to reports a man, believed to be in possession of a knife, had entered the property in St Pirans Close and made threats to the occupants, demanding mobile phones.
A knife was recovered nearby after the suspect left the scene.
Police then went to an address in the Kinsman Estate area of the town.
A containment was put in place, and a man left the property of his own accord a short time later.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in police custody.
