Large fire leaves stretch of north Cornwall cliff-top badly scorched

A large stretch of the cliff-top in north Cornwall has been badly scorched by a gorse fire.
Crews were battling the blaze at Glebe near Tintagel for most of Monday (29th August).
At its height, the flames spanned an area measuring 70m by 70m.
Firefighters from Delabole, Bude and the water carrier from Wadebridge rushed to the scene shortly before 9am.
They say water was being shuttled from a hydrant in a nearby hamlet to stop it escalating.
Another team from St Columb was later scrambled, but Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service said none would remain overnight due to the danger to firefighters' safety.
Cornwall FRS said: "Crews from Delabole were mobilised after calls taken for this incident. Once on scene, the crew from Delabole found an area covering 70 by 70 metres alight on the cliff edge.
"Wildfire beaters and hosereels were put in place. A request was made for further resources and an appliance from Bude as well as an officer attended. Crews were committed to prevent escalation of the incident.
"Update at 1209 hours: The water carrier from Wadebridge has now been requested to attend to assist with water supplies.
"Update 1800 hours: Delabole are remaining at the scene at this time, monitoring hotspots near the cliff face.
"The fire will possibly smoulder overnight but, due to the danger to firefighter safety, no attendance will be made overnight".
An appliance from St Columb and a water carrier from Wadebridge remain on scene at 9pm but by 11pm, all resources had left the scene.
