Cornwall is celebrating the early arrival of Spring.
The iconic "coming home" trees near the A30 were lit up in a magnolia pink last night (Monday 27 February) to mark the occasion.
The trees were given a magnolia glow
The Nare Country House Hotel were behind it: "Spring officially arrived in Cornwall yesterday in its full flush.
"One may have seen the spectacular sight of the iconic Coming Home Trees glowing a glorious magnolia shade last night from the A30 into Cornwall. This signifies the progression of Spring from Cornwall into the rest of England.
"Do come to Cornwall's' lovely gardens this Spring. The Cornish magnolias are in full bloom and the gardens are coming into flower."
Known as Cookworthy Knapp, the clump of more than 100 beech trees mark the border between Cornwall and Devon.
