Firefighters from St Just, St Ives and Penzance scrambled to huge gorse fire
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received multiple calls about the blaze at Bartinney near St Just, which could be seen for miles

Firefighters from across west Cornwall have been scrambled to a huge gorse fire.
The blaze in the Bartinney area of St Just initially covered an area measuring around 200m.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service have since received multiple calls and say it can easily be seen by anyone in the vicinity of Land's End.
A team from St Just received the initial call just after 7.30am on Monday (5th April).
Crews from St Ives, Penzance, Helston and Perranporth have since been sent to the scene.
A total of five engines, two light support vehicles and a water carrier are fighting the fire on two separate fronts and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says the flames are being fanned by strong winds.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "At 07:40 Critical Control received reports of flames seen in the area of Bartinney, St Just.
"One appliance and the L4P from St Just were mobilised immediately. Once in attendance Firefighters confirmed a fire front of approximately 200 metres. Beaters are in use and crews are making good progress.
"13:20 Make Pumps 4. Firefighters are now fighting the fire on two fronts. Appliances from St Ives and Penzance have also been mobilised to the incident.
"Multiple calls have been received for this incident as it can be easily seen by anyone within the Lands End vicinity.
"Update 1520 hours: We now have crews from St. Just, Penzance, St. Ives, Perranporth and Helston.
"A total of five appliances, two light support vehicles and a water carrier, crews are fighting a large fire on two separate fronts. A Group Manager is in overall charge of the incident.
"Update 1730 hours: Crews are still continuing to fight the fire which is being fanned by strong winds".

There have been no further updates from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service since Monday evening, but the fire is believed to be out.
