A group of protestors are currently blocking the main road out of St Ives that leads to the G7 diversion route.

Activists, believed to be from Extinction Rebellion, have banners saying 'tell the truth' and are standing across the road.

Police are on the scene and guiding traffic to a different diversion.

Elsewhere, at the double mini roundabout just off the A30 at St Erth, a van with 'drowning in promises' banner is blocking the road there.

It comes on the final day of the summit, with the world leaders now departing the Duchy.

Boris Johnson held a final press conference, saying we are taking a big step towards vaccinating the world, as he wrapped up the summit.

The Prime Minister has also confirmed world leaders have agreed to donate a billion Covid vaccine does to poorer countries.

He also said talks to build back better from the pandemic and tackle climate change have been promising.

But there has been a string of climate-based protests taking place across the duration of the summit.

Extinction Rebellion were also on the beach in St Ives on Sunday, as they sunk a large model of the G7 logo at the tideline at Porthminster.
