Flood warnings issued in Cornwall on Tuesday no longer in force
A flood alert still remains in place on the Upper River Tamar

A string of flood warnings and alerts issued for Cornwall for today (Wednesday 16th December), issued by the Environment Agency are now 'no longer in force'.
On Tuesday, the Met Office has forecast high spring tides, big waves and westerly winds along the coastline
The flood warnings across the south of the Duchy that are no longer in force are as follows:
- Lands End to Lizard Point excluding Mounts Bay.
- Mounts Bay, properties located behind the seafront.
- Rame Head to Wembury Bay including tidal estuaries.
- Lizard Point to Gribbin Head excluding Truro City.
- Gribbin Head to Rame Head.
- Truro
- Bodmin Town Leat from Berrycombe Road to the Royal Mail Depot
"The situation is improving and no further flooding is expected in this area.
"Flood Warnings and Alerts may still be in force for surrounding areas.
"Tide levels have peaked, water levels are now falling and conditions are easing.
"People are advised to continue to take care near coastal paths and promenades."

A flood alert still remains in place on the Upper River Tamar. It means flooding is possible in Bude, Helebridge, Bridgerule, Canworthy Water, Launceston and Yeolmbridge.
There is also a new flood alert for North Cornwall rivers which are likely to affect towns including Newquay, Padstow, Wadebridge and Sladesbridge, Bodmin, Lanivet, Boscastle and Camelford.
"Following overnight rain, river levels continue to rise slowly through Wednesday, peaking late this afternoon, before falling slowly overnight.
"Further heavy rain is forecast Thursday evening into Friday morning, and with wet catchments, river levels will rise again by Friday morning."
