Investigation underway after fire fills business in St Austell with smoke

An investigation has been launched after fire filled a business in St Austell with smoke.
Crews rushed to a commercial premises on Duke Street on Monday afternoon.
They say the blaze broke out in a kitchen and involved a deep fat fryer.
Teams used foam, dry powder and CO2 extinguishers to put out the fire.
They had to wear specialist breathing equipment and used a pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Fire control received two 999 calls reporting a fire in a commercial premises in Duke Street, St Austell.
"Two appliances and two Wholetime Officers were mobilised from St Austell to attend the incident.
"On arrival crews found a fire in a kitchen and heavy smoke logging throughout the building.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus (BA) used foam, dry powder and carbon dioxide (CO2) extinguishers to extinguish the fire which involved a deep fat fryer.
"Crews are using a positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan to clear smoke from the premises and a fire investigation is currently taking place".
