Arson suspected following fire at beauty spot in north Cornwall
Firefighters were called to Crowdy Reservoir on the edge of Bodmin Moor to find a burning vehicle
It is thought a fire at a beauty spot in north Cornwall was started on purpose.
Crews were called to Crowdy Reservoir on the edge of Bodmin Moor late last night (Tuesday 13th April), to find a burning vehicle.
Police were also scrambled and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service says arson is suspected.
"Appliances from Delabole responded to this incident.
"On arrival a vehicle fire was discovered.
"Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"The police were also in attendance and the incident has been classed as suspected arson".
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service
