The National Police Air Service (NPAS) in the South West was drafted in and has revealed they managed to find one the jet's ejector seats in a large rural search area.
"A busy week for NPAS helicopters in the South West.
"One of our incidents was being called in to assist with the Royal Navy air crash in Cornwall where our crew was able to locate one of the ejector seats in a large rural search area.
