Crash closes A30 in far west Cornwall

The stretch is shut in both directions

The A30 has been closed in the far west of Cornwall following a crash.

Inrix Traffic and Travel is reporting that the road is shut in both directions in the Crows-an-Wra area, which isn't far from Sennen.

The crash is reported to have taken place between the Pendeen turn off and the Rissick turn off on Wednesday evening (26th January).

Traffic is said to be coping well.

It is not yet known how serious the collision is but police are understood to be on the scene.

Inrix Traffic and Travel says: "A30 in both directions closed due to accident between the Pendeen turn off (Escalls) and Rissick turn off (Crows-an-wra)."

As of 7pm the road was still closed.
