Two areas in Cornwall have been named in the Sunday Times Best Places To Live 2021.
Both the Lizard Peninsula and Wadebridge feature in the South West list.
The Lizard Peninsula was chosen for its 'pretty hamlets and picturesque coves abound in this dramatic peninsula with grandstand views of the sea'.
"These southerly, blustery 14 square miles are England’s greatest escape. Here you’ll find all that’s good about Cornwall — you can sail on the Helford River, make sandcastles at Kennack Sands Beach, and take in the spectacle of Kynance Cove, with its craggy cliffs and turquoise water.
"Inland you’ll find pretty hamlets, gentle farmland and wild heather-clad moors. Fresh eggs and homegrown veg are sold at honesty-box stalls, and seaside villages run surf lifesaving sessions to teach youngsters how to be safe at sea."

Meanwhile Wadebridge made the list for being a town 'a stone’s throw from wild moorlands and surfing beaches'.
"It’s a cliché, but it’s true: live in Wadebridge and you really do have it all. You’re on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty, and Cornwall’s top surfing beaches are near by, as are the county’s wild moorlands.
"Wadebridge is more than happy to sit in the shadow of Padstow, eight miles down the River Camel, because locals can enjoy the pretty fishing port, trendy shops and scallops from multiple Rick Stein outlets without having to suffer year-long crowds."

The overall winner from across the country was Stroud.
And Frome made the top of the South West regional list.
