UPDATE: Police have identified a man they wanted to speak to after an alleged incident of criminal damage in Falmouth.

Police have issued an appeal after an alleged incident of criminal damage in Falmouth.

Officers say dozens of cars were damaged on North Parade on Saturday night (6th August).

They have released an image of a man they want to identify and speak to, saying he may be able to help with their enquiries.

Devon & Cornwall Police tweeted: "Police investigating an alleged incident of criminal damage have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident".

Anyone who recognises the person pictured or who has any other information is being urged to get in touch via 101.

A force spokesperson said: "Police investigating an alleged incident of criminal damage have released a picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

"An unknown person damaged dozens of parked vehicles on North Parade in Falmouth on Saturday 6th August at around 9.45pm.

"Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

"Please get in touch if you recognise the man pictured via the Force website or by telephone on 101, quoting crime reference CR/070993/22".
