More than 100 dolphins have been spotted swimming in Falmouth Bay.
A pod of around 150 bottlenose dolphins were captured jumping through the sea.
Sam Plowright, Cetacean Researcher and Educational Officer at AK Wildlife Cruises, said:
"Heading out on a beautifully calm day, we knew that the day would have something amazing to discover in the rich and biodiverse waters of Falmouth!"
"As we headed out, Captain Keith incredibly spotted a few black dots on the horizon about 6 miles from our location at the time and on further inspection with the rest of the crew we saw the most wonderful sight of fins popping up everywhere alongside several hunting moves as well."
"After, we throttled up and made our way to the area to record the number of dolphins, at this point unbeknownst to us that they were actually the incredibly rare bottlenose dolphins, we saw some astonishing mixes of breaching, euphoria, feeding, and communication but then we identified the species.
"And to shock us all we saw a big looming dorsal fin that emerged to be a bottlenose dolphin!"
"Not one, not two, not 10, but over 150 bottlenose dolphins"
Sam added: "At this point we chose to use our drone, which is where the video footage is from, to try and identify the shear size of the superpod.
"These dolphins stayed with us for well over half an hour with some absolutely mesmerising and memorable moments for all of those onboard and those memories will never be forgotten with spectacular breaches and bow riding alongside the incredibly euphoria seen as all of the dolphins met each other."
