Agricultural building fire in Tintagel believed to be arson
Police have been made aware
A fire at an agricultural building in Cornwall is believed to be arson.
Teams were called to the scene in Tintagel at around 6.11pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 19 April).
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said: "Appliances from Wadebridge, Bodmin and Delabole were mobilised to this incident.
"Due to limited water supplies in the area, the water carrier from Wadebridge was also mobilised.
"On arrival, a fire was located within a 10 x 10 metre agricultural building involving straw bales and a trailer.
"Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used two main jets to extinguish the fire, along with the help of a local farmer and their telehandler.
"The fire was believed to be arson. Devon & Cornwall Police have been made aware."
