A30 closed following serious crash

Update at 7.30am: The road has now reopened**.**
The A30 is closed following a serious crash.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Hayle Bypass last night (Thursday 27 July).
The crash involved three vehicles, one of which ended up on its roof.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix is reporting that the road is shut from from B3301 Carwin Rise (Loggans Moor roundabout, Loggans) to A3074 Nut Lane (St Erth roundabout, Lelant).
National Highways say the closure - which has been in place since yesterday evening - is likely to remain in place for another few hours.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue said: "At 19:26 Fire Control received a 999 call reporting a serious multiple vehicle road traffic collision with persons trapped. This was followed by emergency calls from Police and Ambulance control rooms.
"An appliance from Penzance on standby at Tolvaddon was immediately mobilised along with wholetime crew from Tolvaddon in a Rescue Tender, and a Station Manager from Camborne.
"Both appliances arrived on scene within nine minutes of the first call.
"On arrival crews used crash rescue equipment to extricate one casualty.
"The scene was handed over to Devon and Cornwall Police."

Diversion Routes
Westbound diverted traffic is advised to follow the solid diamond diversion symbol:
- Exit the A30 westbound at Loggans Moor Roundabout
- Join the B3301 Carwin Rise
- Continue westbound on the B3301 through Hayle, continuing onto The Causeway
- Re-join the A30 westbound at St Erth Roundabout to continue onward journey
Eastbound diverted traffic is also advised to follow the solid diamond diversion symbol:
- Exit the A30 eastbound at the St Erth Roundabout
- Join the B3301 Griggs Hill and continue through Hayle onto Penpol Terrace and Hayle Terrace
- Continue onward and then re-join the A30 eastbound at Loggans Moor Roundabout
