A woman's in a 'critical' condition after a crash on the A30

It happened just past Bodmin on the eastbound section

A man was also injured but not seriously hurt.

A woman's been seriously injured after three vehicles collided on the A30 just past Bodmin.

She was airlifted to Derriford Hospital following the incident on the eastbound section between Victoria and Innis Downs at around 1.15pm on Wednesday September 2.

A van, lorry, and car were involved and the van ended up on it's side.

A man inside the van was treated by paramedics but isn't believed to be seriously hurt.

"One woman was seriously injured and has been airlifted to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance. Her condition is described as critical.

"The van ended up on its side with one man inside. He was treated by ambulance, injuries not believed serious.

"The carriageway has been closed eastbound. The westbound was temporarily closed for the air ambulance to land but is now open."
