A pop-up mental health hub is on tour across Cornwall offering support

A pop-up mental health hub is touring around Cornwall and offering support.
The 'Valued Lives' lorry is funded by the NHS and is designed to help support people with their mental health as well as take pressure off services such as police, hospitals and GP surgeries across Cornwall.
The team specialises in suicide prevention and provides tools and techniques to enable people who struggle to manage their mental health.
The lorry is pitching up at supermarket car parks across Cornwall through September and October.
"The lorry has reached hundreds of people so far, some who we have helped get assessed by the Cornwall Mental Health Team and some we have prevented taking their own lives. The support we have given so far has taken the pressure of many of the services in Cornwall, we are proud to work closely with the NHS and Police.
"We had to be clever when picking our locations for the lorry as if we were to reach people who were victims of domestic abuse and violence or Young farmers /Farmers community, we needed a place that was easily accessed and could be disguised as a person going shopping.
"Sainsbury's have been amazing in their support with us using their car park and facilities, also Tesco's have helped in a couple of our locations."
