A flood alert has been issued for the River Tamar in the wake of Storm Alex
People are being advised to monitor weather conditions near their homes in parts of Cornwall until Sunday.
People living in areas surrounding the Upper River Tamar are warned to be prepared.
The strong advice comes after a flood alert was issued by the Environment Agency.
It means flooding is possible in Bude, Helebridge, Bridgerule, Canworthy Water, Launceston and Yeolmbridge.
