£10,000 worth of farm equipment stolen in rural area of south east Cornwall

Police say it happened in the early hours of the morning

Police have issued an appeal after £10,000 worth of farm equipment was stolen in a rural area near Callington.

It was reported that a large quantity of sheep handling equipment and steel gates, worth £10,000, was taken.

It happened in the early hours of the morning on Saturday 12th November in the Beals Mill area.

It is thought that a large vehicle or a van and trailer would have been used to carry out the theft, which took place in a remote, rural location.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who have any information or dashcam footage that could help the police with their enquiries, to please email 101@dc.police.uk or call 101, quoting CR/100947/21.
