This could possibly be the best thing ever invented. A New York dairy has combined two of our favourite things in life into one delicious pot… wine ice cream!
Mercer’s are based in Boonville, New York and make these heavenly pots of adults-only ice cream, featuring riesling, cherry merlot, peach white zinfandel and sparkling strawberry flavours.
The dairy’s owner, Roxaina Hurlburt came up with the idea when she attended a party where guests were putting dollops of her ice cream in their wine glasses. Mercer’s wine-infused ice cream packs a bit of a punch, with 5-10 per cent alcohol content in each pot, you’ll definitely want to keep it away from the kids.
