If anything can snap us out of our sad, tired, still-zombified-from-the-weekend state on this bitterly cold day, it’s the fact that there’s going to imminently be SIX new flavours of Walkers crisps.

And they sound absolutely amazing!

The new releases are to celebrate Walkers’ 70 year anniversary, and are each named after a popular dish from the decades since – eg 1980s is Chicken Tikka Masala.

See the full list of flavours in the list below:

1950s - Coronation Chicken

1960s - Roast Lamb & Mint

1970s - Cheese Fondue

1980s - Chicken Tikka Masala

1990s - BBQ Ribs

2000s - Sweet Chilli

The six new flavours include, Coronation Chicken, Roast Lamb and Mint, Cheese Fondue, Chicken Tikka Masala, BBQ Ribs and Sweet Chilli.

Walkers said in a statement, “We would like to thank the British public for the support that they have shown us over the decades, and are proud to be the ‘nation’s favourite crisp brand.

“What better way to mark the occasion than doing what Walkers does best, and bringing to life the iconic flavours from the decades – from cheese fondue to chicken tikka masala?”

The limited edition new flavours are available to buy now in single (RRP 0.65p) and multipacks (RRP £1.50 - £4).
