The news of this 'new' star sign appears to come from a NASA blog written a number of years ago, where they explain how the star signs were decided, which is to do with the constellation that the Sun is in during a particular time of the year.

Since the news has resurfaced many people have been taking to Twitter, frustrated at the news, with one user saying, 'I am NOT ADAPTABLE. I AM A CANCER. WATCH ME CRY YOU TWO RIVERS NASA. I WILL NOT BE CALLED A GEMINI.' (sic)

Another said, 'As if 2020 couldn’t get anymore odd NASA discovered a new star sign which means I am now a Leo and not a Virgo'.

Others seemed to be happy with the change, with one tweeting, 'I’m super excited for my personality to change. In fact I feel like I can start my ‘proper’ life.', and another saying, 'I wasn’t a fan of my star sign - so happy to change it Face with tears of joy'.
